Davey Backyard is my 'bloke with a guitar' persona. 

In my over 30 years  of performing, I have played in hundreds of events and bars etc.

My repertoire consists of mainly:
Country from 40's 50's 60's - Hank Williams, Johnny Cash etc
Blues and Rock n' Roll 40's 50's 60's - Howlin' wolf, Jimmy reed,  Bo Diddly etc
Lots of folk - American and Irish - Steve Earle, The Pogues & Traditional
Original songs in the style of above from my 5 solo albums and more
Pub classics  60's / 70's, about half a dozen from the 1980's and nothing really to speak of from 90's to present day - I'm pretty old school! - Here's an example of stuff I do...
