Harmonica (harp) tuition

Backyard Music offers experienced harmonica tuition and advice. All lessons are individually tailored to suit what YOU want to learn.

We have a state of the art tuition room with many instruments, lots of great gear, and broadband internet access.

I also have the ability to make instant backing tracks or record the lesson as an mp3.

What styles?

Bob Dylan to the Blues, Neil Young to Sonny Boy.

What ability?

Abslolute beginners and beyond, Backyard Music will work to everyone’s strengths and weaknesses.

What age?

Students past and present have ranged from 7 - 67 years old

Backyard Music provides a very easy going, open minded and patient approach.

What harp?

I teach the 10 hole diatonic harmonica (the one with 10 holes and no button on the side).  You can use a harmonica of any key, but I prefer to work in the key of C.
